Due to the fragile nature of glass and to assure that you receive your HGP product intact, we have gone the extra mile in packaging. Additionally, our pre-ship inspection assures that the all parts leave HGP's warehouse damage-free, and that is how they should be delivered. However, damage is possible during transit. We strongly recommend you inspect the package and contents prior to accepting the delivery, regardless of the condition of the packaging.
Fedex/UPS Ground or Priority
If you find your item(s) damaged, you MUST have the driver note the damage on the delivery receipt. If the damage is severe, please refuse delivery and call our office immediately - we will take care of the claim and send you a replacement.
By signing the delivery receipt, you are certifying that you have received your item(s) in good condition. If you find the item damaged after you have signed and/or accepted the item and the damage was not noted on the delivery receipt, HGP may not be able to help you with a claim. All damage claims MUST be reported to HGP within 48 hours of delivery.
Based on the size and/or weight of item(s) in your shopping cart, your order may be required to be shipped via "Truck Freight". Please be advised that truck freight (LTL) requires a signature for delivery. The freight company will normally call prior to delivery. Before you sign for any shipment, please inspect the contents of all boxes (even if there are no external signs of damage) in the driver's presence. Note ANY damage or shortage on the shipping company's bill. If the damage is severe, please refuse delivery and call our office immediately. If damages or shortages are not noted before the delivery is signed for, the shipping company WILL refuse to pay the claim and HGP will not be able to replace the damaged/missing part(s).
